Welcome to the Christmas edition of our eNews!

We hope you have enjoyed your year with us, including the welcome change of providing our membership free to all families with young children 0-5 in NSW. This received an overwhelmingly positive response from our playgroup community and our members, and we look forward to providing you with more exciting offers and value with your membership next year.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of parents, carers and volunteers, and our staff, Board members and partners who continue to be a part of our wonderful journey – to lead in engaging families and communities in early childhood development, and to make playgroup accessible to all families with children 0-5 in NSW.

Tips for a healthy and active holiday

Decadent feast and busy schedule make it hard to keep a balance during holiday season. Let's check out these great tips to keep your summer holiday healthy and active.

World's Biggest Playgroup Day 2019- Save the Date!

World's Biggest Playgroup Day is back again next year on 27th March 2019 at Australian Maritime Museum, 10AM- 3PM.

Our little ones can expect hours of fun at our epic LEGO DUPLO play zone. The main stage will be filled with top Australian kids entertainers including The Beanies, Kinderling Kids Radio and many more. The day will be fun loaded with lots of free kid activities including face painting, art and craft, water play across many stations at the Museum.

QUACK! The much loved CBeebies series Sarah & Duck are flying south for their first visit to the Sydney Opera House!

The enchanting world of Sarah & Duck is brought to life in a brand new stage show, featuring the beloved characters from the TV show. Join Sarah & Duck, and a host of your favourite friends, including The Ribbon Sisters, The Shallots, Flamingo & John and Umbrella, as they plan a birthday party for Scarf Lady in their garden.

Told through puppetry, storytelling and music, take your little ducklings on an adventure that proves any problem can be solved with the right friends!

Update on My Health Record

New legislation passed last month allows Australians to opt in or opt out of having a My Health Record at any time during their life. Records will be created for every Australian who wants one after 31 January 2019. After this date, a person can delete their record permanently at any time.
